Dear friends, I have some news I have been eager to share. Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, my flagship books have been developed into five free courses. Four of them explore apologetics. One addresses spiritual warfare. All five are available now, at no cost, in my Faith on Trial community.
Before I describe them, I want to say thank you. These volunteers gave their time, their skill, and their patience to take books I wrote alone and shape them into something people can learn from together. This project would not exist without them, and I am grateful beyond what a paragraph can hold.
A book asks you to read. A course asks you to work through it, to wrestle with it, and to test what you think you believe. I have always wanted the case for God to be available to anyone willing to do that work, without a price tag standing in the way. Now it is.
The Four Apologetics Courses
Apologetics has been the center of my work for a very personal reason. I spent twelve years trying to disprove God, and it was the evidence that brought me back. These four courses are built around that kind of evidence and argument.
- Evidence That Would Not Break
- Answering Skeptics
- Creation Questions
- The Cross Examination
The Spiritual Warfare Course
The fifth course turns from the arguments for faith to the attacks on it.
- The Tempter’s Playbook
Spiritual warfare is not a topic I treat lightly. The enemy does his best work quietly, and most of us never see the strategy until the damage is done. This course is for anyone who wants to recognize temptation while it is still a whisper, before it becomes a habit.
How You Can Help
I am asking for three things. Explore the courses. Rate them. And send me your honest feedback, including what confused you, what helped, and what you wish had been covered. These are first editions, in a sense, and like every first edition they will improve with good readers. Your insights will help me refine and sharpen them.
One more thing. Keep an eye on the Faith on Trial community, because a new course called Fiction That Argues arrives tomorrow. I will say more about it once it is live.
Thank you, as always, for your support and your encouragement. I am eager to hear what you think.
Blessings, Alfred
